OUR MISSION

"To nurture disciples through Bible study, fellowship, and spiritual growth, while equipping every member to share the everlasting gospel and make disciples in preparation for the soon return of Jesus Christ."

01 Nurture Spiritual Growth

To strengthen the spiritual lives of members through meaningful Sabbath School participation, systematic Bible study, prayer, fellowship, discipleship, and Christian education.

02 Equip Members for Evangelism

To train, motivate, and empower every church member to become an active witness for Christ through personal evangelism, Bible studies, small groups, community outreach, and other gospel ministries.

03 Reach Communities and Make Disciples

To take the everlasting gospel to individuals, families, and communities through coordinated evangelistic initiatives, leading people to accept Jesus Christ, become His disciples, and participate in the life and mission of His church.

The Sabbath School and Evangelism Department exists to nurture spiritual growth, strengthen Christian fellowship, and mobilize every member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for active participation in the mission of God.

Sabbath School provides a Christ-centered environment where members and visitors study God’s Word, deepen their faith, build meaningful relationships, and prepare for Christian service. Evangelism extends this ministry beyond the church by equipping and encouraging members to share the everlasting gospel with individuals, families, and communities.

Together, Sabbath School and Evangelism seek to develop disciples who know Christ, love Christ, serve Christ, and share Christ, while preparing people for the soon return of Jesus.

ABOUT US

What we do

The Sabbath School and Evangelism Department supports the spiritual growth and evangelistic mission of the Rwenzori Field through:

Sabbath School Ministry – Promoting effective, Christ-centered Sabbath School programs that encourage Bible study, fellowship, mission awareness, and spiritual growth.
Bible Study and Discipleship – Encouraging systematic Bible study and helping members grow into committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
Personal Evangelism – Equipping members to share their faith and conduct personal Bible studies with friends, relatives, neighbours, colleagues, and community members.
Public Evangelism – Supporting evangelistic campaigns, gospel meetings, preaching initiatives, and other organized efforts to proclaim the everlasting gospel.
Small Groups and Home Fellowship – Encouraging small-group ministries and home-based fellowship as effective avenues for Bible study, prayer, nurture, and outreach.
Community Outreach – Connecting the gospel with practical Christian service and responding to the spiritual and social needs of communities.
Evangelism Training – Providing resources, training, mentorship, and practical opportunities that help members become effective witnesses for Christ.
New Member Nurture – Supporting the integration, discipleship, and spiritual development of those who join the church.
Mission Promotion – Keeping the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church at the heart of Sabbath School and church life by encouraging members to participate in local and global mission.
Church Mobilization – Working with local churches, pastors, leaders, and members to create a culture in which every believer sees themselves as a missionary and disciple-maker.
