Health Ministry

Health Ministry is an integral part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s mission of caring for the whole person. We promote physical, mental, social, and spiritual wellbeing through health education, healthy-living initiatives, preventive health programs, community outreach, and health evangelism.

We seek to equip churches and members to make healthy choices and use health ministry as a practical expression of Christ’s love and a bridge to sharing the gospel.

Strategic Planning

Strategic Planning helps the Rwenzori Field, its departments, and local churches translate the Church’s mission and vision into clear goals, practical action, measurable outcomes, and sustainable growth.

We support intentional planning, coordination, resource alignment, monitoring, evaluation, and evidence-based decision-making so that every ministry can work purposefully and demonstrate measurable impact.

Health Ministry

• Promote healthy lifestyles, nutrition, physical activity, rest, temperance, and preventive health.

• Conduct health education, awareness, screening, and community outreach initiatives.

• Equip churches, members, and volunteers for effective health ministry.

• Use health outreach as an avenue for Christian service and evangelism.

• Coordinate Field-wide, departmental, and local church planning.

• Support goal setting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

• Promote effective use of human, financial, and material resources.

• Collect and use relevant information to support informed decision-making.

• Encourage collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
